Die Region rund um den Attersee hat nicht nur im Sommer einiges zu bieten, auch im Frühling, Herbst und Winter gibt es vieles zu entdecken. Unser erstes Ziel ist der Märchenwald in Unterach am Attersee. Um dorthin zu gelangen, der Beschilderung „Druckerhof“ folgen und am gekennzeichneten Parkplatz das Auto abstellen. Die Zwerge zeigen dann die Richtung zum Märchenwald. Der Weg ist absolut kinderwagentauglich und sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Es gibt sogar Stationen, in der die Kinder förmlich in das Märchen eintauchen – so können sie Wasser aus einen Brunnen holen oder in eine echte Märchenhütte reingehen. In der Mitte des Weges gibt es einen tollen Spielplatz. Zwischen 1 bis 2 Stunden lassen sich dort herrlich verbringen.

Im Anschluss geht es zurück zum Parkplatz bzw. zum Druckerhof. Wer seine Jause nicht selbst mit hat, der sollte unbedingt beim Druckerhof einkehren. Ein ganz idyllisches Plätzchen mit einem Wildtiergehege und eine traumhafte Aussicht auf den türkisblauen Attersee. Und das Essen ist auch sehr, sehr gut.

Nach dem Essen geht es weiter nach Weyregg am Attersee. Die Fahrt dauert etwa 30 Minuten, direkt am Ufer des Attersees. Am besten das Auto beim öffentlichen Parkplatz nahe der Feuerwehr stehen lassen. Die Schilder „Wasser Roas“ führen direkt zu den niedlichen Tierchen.

Eine Schifffahrt – ja die ist toll.

Nach einer ausgiebigen Fütter- und Streicheleinheit geht es zurück zum Auto und damit weiter in die Gemeinde Attersee. Dort wartet schon das nächste Highlight: eine Schifffahrt. Wir empfehlen den Rundkurs „Nord“ zu nehmen. Die Dauer beträgt etwas mehr als eine Stunde. Tickets gibt es vor Ort zu kaufen. Sollte noch etwas Zeit bis zum Ablegen übrig sein, in der Nähe gibt es einen tollen öffentlichen Spielplatz. Dieser bietet sich auch für eine kleine Jausenpause an bzw. gibt es auch Snacks direkt am Schiff.

Wer die Nacht am Attersee und damit einen weiteren Tag in der Region am Attersee verbringen möchte, dem stehen natürlich viele Möglichkeiten zur Verfügung. Eine sehr nette Unterkunft ist die Pension Seeblick in Attersee am Attersee. Das Haus und die Gastgeber sind sehr familien- und vor allem kinderfreundlich. Es gibt einen tollen Fuhrpark im Garten und viele Spielsachen im Haus.
